The Courtyards of Cottleville built by Meyer Homes
Jerry Meyer, owner of Meyer Homes, has approximately 30 years of experience in St. Louis housing development. He started The Meyer Company, in 1989 in his basement, and grew it to a 30 person company building over 90 homes a year at its peak. As the President of the Meyer Homes and their Courtyards of Cottleville Community, Jerry is responsible for site analysis, project planning, land purchase, financing, site development, and is the Chief Operating Officer of Meyer Homes.
Jerry decided to become an Epcon Communities Franchise Builder after visiting the corporate office in Dublin, Ohio in 2016. He was impressed with Epcon corporate management, the excellent systems they had in place to run a successful company that markets exclusively to the baby boomer demographic, the incredible plans available to Epcon Franchise Builders, and the invaluable support he knew he would get from Epcon Corporate as he built this new company.
Jerry, being a Baby Boomer himself, after surveying the St. Louis Metropolitan Area, very quickly realized what a great product this would be for a demographic he believes is greatly underserved.
Jerry, a St. Louis native spends his free time playing golf with his wife Robyn, three children, three grandchildren, and Saturday mornings playing indoor soccer with his childhood friends.
His vision for Meyer Homes is to build communities in the St. Louis region serving this demographic and giving our buyers the best building experience possible.
